Inlighten’s Australia Day Top 12 Iconic Sydney Wedding Photos (that don’t look cliche)
It’s Australia Day and time to celebrate our beautiful city of Sydney. And while we all love our Sydney icons, many of our brides prefer to request photos that show the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, but in a more artistic and subtle way. So following on from the success of our last top 10 list, here’s Inlighten’s Top 12 Iconic Sydney Wedding Photos (that don’t look cliche).
A different perspective on a building and shape that we know, and love.
Rustic rock walls and tunnels are a feature of many areas around the Sydney foreshore that can be used to frame both the bride and groom, as well the view.
A chance meeting with a person from a neighbouring building, allowed our photographer Jarred to run up to the opposite building, and capture this unique angle of the couple on the balcony. The buildings create a tunnel that takes your eye on a journey down to the Harbour Bridge in the background.
Yes, a previous Top 10 contender, but how could this one not be included. The last incredible rays of sunlight beam light up the Opera House and Katherine’s veil.
The Opera House after dark lights up the night sky. I love the way the line of lights draws your eye down straight down to our Bride and Groom.
Just a hint of the bridge in the background is all you need to know it’s Sydney. The use of black and white on this photo gives this photo a heritage feel.
