Inlighten’s Top 10 Wedding Photos of 2014
OK so we’re a little late with this post, but with overseas weddings in New York and Italy, as well as thousands of home grown shots to chose from, it was tough to cut the list down to only 10.
So, from candid moments to awe inspiring landscapes, here’s Inlighten’s Top 10 Wedding Photos of 2014.
Jen and Abraham’s wedding in the mountains of Tuscany was one of the highlights of 2014. I love how the pinpoints of yellow light in the landscape show both the vastness of the mountains, as well as the intimacy of their own personal villa.
Inlighten’s own Nancy returned home to her beloved New York to marry the man of her dreams Chris. So our challenge was to create photos that captured both their love and closeness, as well as the vibrancy and culture that is NY. I love the fact that they are still and focused on only each other, while New Yorkers continue their lives around them.
A jovial moment as years of experience and wisdom are passed along the generations. I especially love the depth created in the photo by the three lighting sources within the one shot.
Simple, elegant and beautiful. My belief is that, while make up and a stunning gown will give a bride confidence, her natural beauty will always shine through the happiness in her eyes. Thank you Zoe for being the new face of Inlighten.
One of the hottest looks this year for wedding photography is shooting into the sun. Romantic and soft, yet striking.
Shots like this that make your friends go “Wow” is why our couples choose Inlighten. The contrast of white against the blue night sky, adds light and feeling. You can almost feel the warm evening breeze just looking at this photo.
The subtle reflection in the piano, takes this photo from being a candid moment to a true work of art, treasured by our bride Rebecca.
One word – breathtaking. This is why our couples hire a professional wedding photographer. Shot on location in the Hunter Valley.
One of the greatest focuses for the Bride while planning her wedding, is that “first impact” that guests will receive when they enter the reception. I can see the afternoon light, feel the breeze that is gently moving the lanterns and smell the delicious canapes these guests are about to enjoy. A picture capturing a thousand words.
Today’s bride is sophisticated and elegant. She loves quality and style, and expects her wedding photos to reflect these loves. Katherine and Aaron’s wedding was one of our most liked weddings of the year on social media.
Working with amazing Floral Designers such as Maria Lush, just makes our job easier. The floating clouds she created for Alyce and Enzo’s wedding created an intimate yet grand feeling for their Reception.
So yes, I have snuck in an extra 2 photos, but I just couldn’t cut it down to only 10!
Thank you to all our couples for a wonderful 2014. We are looking forward to a spectacular 2015 and cant wait to share all of our new photos with you.
